Track Conditions at Louee

Tracks groomed up well this week with a little rain on Tuesday before that dust storm. Wow! that was different. Louee is now a lovely red colour. Forecast is for a fine and sunny weekend with a little wind on Saturday and Sunday. Tom.

Very light shower here on Thursday night. Tracks are all groomed, sun is out, forecast is for 23 degrees each day this weekend. What more can I say?

Have had 12mm of rain here on Thursday night. Moisture content should be excellent for the weekend. Maybe a little wet for Friday. Forecast is for fine and sunny weekend. Tracks all groomed and ready to go. Lots of Junior riders at Louee this weekend as we are visited once again by the Blacktown club.

a couple of recent accidents at Louee are a sobering reminder of how dangerous Dirt Bike riding can be. All too often we head out for a ride with our family or friends and someone crashes and is injured. Sometimes seriously! As bike riders we are generally aware of the risks but the warning sign on the front gate of every bike track in Australia saying " Motorcycle Riding is Dangerous" should never be taken lightly.

Plan your ride, prepare your bike, wear lots of protective clothing, stay off the grog, ride tracks that suit your capabilities, don't take risks, look out for others, ask for advice and abide by the rules of the track. These are a few simple things that may help you prevent an accident.

An accident free ride is a good one. Make plans to have a good ride. Sometimes "Shit happens" but complacency and lack of planning is a major accident cause.

Tracks are pretty dry but all groomed and watered for this weekend. Forecast is for Rain on Saturday. Believe that when I see it. A bit of mud would be a nice change.

Windy and dry here on Friday. Tracks all had a good groom this week but Fridays ride was not very good due to wind and dust. Upside is that the wind has blown a little rain our way and tracks look awesome for Saturday. Lots of Juniors here this weekend from Yellow rock Club. Tom.

Nick and I have got the tracks back in shape after the holidays and the Mx track looks a treat. All the inside corners of MX have been ripped and all the tracks have also been graded, rolled and watered. Looks good and rider numbers are always lower in August so make the most of great track and lots of room.

Unfortunately we will not be coaching at Louee this week. Shane Booth who was going to be here this week has been unavoidably detained and will not be able to come. We are very sorry for this and will be planning our next coaching camp for October School Holidays.

Weather is fine and sunny for the first day of the School holidays. Tracks are groomed and watered and ready to go. Forecast is for a fine weekend but a bit of rain developing on Monday.

Louee wiil be open every day of the Hoildays from today the 10th of July right through to Sunday the 19th of July. Tracks will be groomed periodically during the week and all facilities are open during this time.

Light shower of rain here on Thursday night to settle the dust. Tracks have all been groomed as usual and although the weather is a bit ordinary here on Friday morning the forecast for the weekend is not too bad. Cold with frost in mornings. Windy on Friday with a possible shower but no rain for the rest of the weekend. Should be another good one. Tom.

Track conditions are excellent this morning (Friday). All tracks groomed well and there is still a little moisture left from last Sundays rain. We have had no rain here at Louee this week. There is a forecast for one to five mm of Rain for Friday afternoon and possible rain periods on Saturday as well. Sunday should be fine. If it starts to rain here at Louee I will post a new message. Currently it is fine and sunny here at Louee and the rain looks like it is not going to happen. I will water tracks tonight. Mx track is a little dusty. Tracks look great, weather is overcast and cool but no rain. Mx tracks are groomed and watered and trails still have good moisture from last weeks rain. Top riding condions expected at Louee this weekend. Baulkham hills junior club is visiting this weekend so there will be a few kids buzzing around but always heaps of room for other day riders to enter.

We measured 22mm of rain over the past week and it has done wonders for the riding conditions. Moisture content is perfect for riding and track maintenance and all tracks came up a treat. If you are coming to Louee this weekend bring a jumper. Big frosts at night and it was -3 here on Thursday morning.....it could get worse over the weekend. Nice sunny days are forecast and arounf 15 degrees. I suggest riding conditions for this weekend to be great. Tom.

10mm of rain at Louee on Tuesday evening. This is the first rain we have had in two months. Conditions overcast on Thursday and forecast is for possible showers over the weekend. Riding conditions are excellent and all tracks have been groomed and look great. As usual it will be busy on Saturday but we are by no means packed out so there is plenty of room for day riders. Due to the long weekend accommodation is at a premium in the area so call the Mudgee Tourist office on 63721020 if you are after a bed.

Has been a wild and wooly week here at Louee. No rain but wind....blow a dog off it's chain. Forecast is for it all to end for the weekend and come out sunny and 18 degree's. The few spots of rain we have had made grooming great and all tracks look good but it has been very dry here so tracks are generally pretty dry and some trail areas are dusty. I expect we will need the water cart on Saturday for the Motocross tracks..

Weather is a treat at Louee at the moment. Cool nights and beautiful warm days. Conditions are getting a bit dry. Tracks groomed up well with water but the trails are getting dusting. We could sure do with a shower of rain. Remember Mothers Day on Sunday and our normal Sunday Ladies Day where all ladies pay half price to ride.

Rain came early yesterday and we also had heavy rain at Louee on Saturday night. Conditions are wet under foot on Sunday morning but the sun is out and it will dry out quickly. Big day at Louee on Saturday, tracks have had some heavy traffic, next grooming day is Tuesday.

Had a bit of a shower here at Louee Saturday morning. Conditions are are good for Saturday but the forecast is for some rain developing on Saturday night and showers for Sunday and Monday. No accommodation or camping spots left but day riders are welcome. Keep an eye on this page for updates on weather conditions.

Tracks all look great, we have been grooming all week. Weather forecast indicates great weather for Good Friday and Saturday with a chance of some showers on Sunday and Monday. We have Dungeree vacant due to a cancellation and will sell for $250 per night plus riding. Otherwise day riders are welcome and we have plenty of lock up. Sorry, no camping spots or shearers quarters beds left.

Overcast with no rain at Louee. Enough rain over the past few days to help with grooming but water cart will be operating today. Tracks came up a treat. Forecast is for possible showers on Saturday but they have been forcasting that for a week. Ridng should be good to excellent this weekend.

Track conditions today (Thursday) are excellent. Very little rain (3mm) has fallen at Louee over the past 2 days unlike the coast. Current conditions are overcast with patchy blue Sky. Forecast is for showers Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday but we have seen little rain so far so my guess is we won't see much at all. If conditions stay the same I will rate track conditions as 9/10 for this weekend. No mud, no dust, cool and overcast. I will update again thursday night and Friday, or if the conditions change. It has been dry here at Louee this week. All tracks have been groomed. Forecast is for a dry weekend. Enduro trails will be dry and all Motocross tracks will be watered as usual. Sprinklers at night and water cart during the day. Camping or day ridng vacancies for this weekend. Should be good.

No rain this week and forecast is for a warm weekend with clear skies and cool nights. Tracks have all had a makeover after last weekends wet weather and look great. No accommodqation or camping spots left at Louee however day riders are welcome and there are also many accommodation options in Mudgee and Rylstone. Lue Hotel has also reopened.

Light shower at Louee on Thursday night. Forecast is for some showers and possible storms over the weekend with temps in the high twenties. Shower will be a good thing as conditions have truned quite dry and dusty over the past couple of weeks. MX has had a good groom but the others have had a light drag only due to the dry conditions.

Weather has finally cleared and forecast looks brilliant for this weekend. Tracks and trails are drying out nicely and we will have a moist but not muddy weekend. Tracks are all being groomed and the forecast is for fine weather in our area and 28 degree's on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Perfect.

Showers here at Louee all day today but only 5mm in total. Still light rain falling and blowing in from the East. Mx track was wet and pretty shitty today but we did have a few breaks in the weather and a dry line developed. It didn't last long as the showers kept blowing in. If it stays lke this I'd give it a miss tomorrow and I will post another message at 7.00 am Sunday morning or earlier if the weather breaks. If the weather breaks it will dry up quick and Sunday will be great day here at Louee.
